GDOT: Prepare for lane closures on Browns Bridge Rd/Hwy. 369

Drivers who travel Browns Bridge road over Lake Lanier need to be extra cautious as you travel tonight.
 
Georgia DOT spokes woman Katie Strickland says two projects in the area will result in lane closures tonight and into Thursday morning. Strickland explained, "We have the bridge replacement project that's going on and then we also have a repaving project - the resurfacing project there to make it a smooth ride."

Strickland says the bridge work will require lane closures from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

While the resurfacing project will necessitate lane closures starting at 8:00 p.m. and ending Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m.
 
She urges motorists to stay alert and use caution in that area.
