Investigators at the Hall County Sheriff's Office hope you'll help them make no school-aged children go without school supplies.
Public Information Officer Derreck Booth said the Criminal Investigative Unit created the Back the Blue 4 Back to School supply drive and will be accepting donations at all of their precincts throughout the county.
"The main one is here is on Browns Bridge Road, our headquarters building," Booth explained. "We also have a north precinct in Clermont. That's on Dean Street. And then our south precinct building is on Cody Drive in Flowery Branch."
Booth said they'll accept donations of supplies as well as financial gifts and distribute them among the Hall County Schools. He said a few of the things they're hoping to receive include, "...simple things like paper, pencils, pens, erasers, colored pencils, crayons of course,and markers."
This is the first year for the school supply drive but Booth said they hope the success of it will lead to make this an annual event.
