Authorities identify the man shot and killed in Toccoa in broad daylight.
GBI Special Agent in Charge Kim Williams issued a press release stating that 18 year old Joel Keshon Green of Toccoa died from his wounds Wednesday.
She says the shooting happened after 1:00 Wednesday afternoon on South Alexander Street.
Toccoa Police Chief Jimmy Mize said, “We’ve got a BOLO out for a grey small Ford vehicle, like a Ford Escape or Ford Taurus with a white female driver with a Florida tag that was seen leaving the scene,” he said. “The Sheriff and GSP are canvassing the county for that vehicle. They’ve got several ideas. They think they know who it is, but nobody for sure.”
Anyone with information in the case should contact police.
