Authorities find body of Hall County man reported missing in national park in Washington State

By B.J. Williams

A man from Hall County, who went missing last month in a national park in Washington State, has been found dead, according to social media.

Administrators of a Facebook page entitled 'Bring Casey Zippro Home' confirmed the death of the 31-year-old, who was last seen at North Cascades National Park on June 16. Zippro apparently had been camping with a friend.

"It's with deep sadness that I write this post. A body was discovered Tuesday evening and the family received confirmation today that it is Casey. No foul play is suspected and we ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time," the post read.

The post offered no details on circumstances surrounding the death; however, media in Washington State announced later in the day Friday that law enforcement announced Zippro took his own life.

Zippro, who had moved to Seattle, was a graduate of Johnson High School. Some family members still live in Hall County.
