UPDATE: GBI identifies man who shot others, himself in Arcade dispute

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has identified the man who shot three people in Arcade Wednesday night and then turned the gun on himself.

GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles confirmed Thursday it was Matthew Michael Carr, 52, who opened fire at the home on Caruth Road.

"Officers responded and they found four individuals with gunshot wounds on the scene," Miles said.

Miles added one of the other people shot was Carr's girlfriend; the other victims are the girlfriend's daughter and her husband.

Names of the wounded victims have not been released, nor has the motive behind the shooting.
