The Humane Society of Northeast Georgia’s Board of Directors has seven new members effective July 1.
They are Mike Cape, David Poroch, Claire Miller, Rixey Jones, David Magee, Vickey Russell, and Denise Funk.
"We are pleased to welcome this group of community leaders to HSNEGA's board," said Dave Smith, chair of the HSNEGA Board of Directors. "They join the organization at an exciting time as we are in a pattern of growth and have great opportunities ahead of us. We are delighted they've chosen to bring their skills, experience and passion to our efforts.”
"I am so pleased with the work that has been done to enhance the organization's board of directors," said Fran Habeeb, immediate past chair of the HSNEGA Board of Directors. “We believe the new directors will be significant assets, and the new board team is committed to leading HSNEGA to becoming an organization of note in the animal welfare field.”
