WHEEL, Tenn. - Tanner English scored his second Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series feature on Saturday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee.
The Benton, Kentucky native used a high side pass on Brad Skinner to take the lead on lap 36, and went on to record the victory.
“If I was going to get around Brad I know I had to go to the top and with him staying on the bottom he was being held up by lapped cars and I know that would be my only chance to get around him” said English.
Skinner finished in second, with Scott Cook in third, John Owenby in fourth and Jay Scott in fifth.
David Brannon, David Seibers, Jadon Frame, Terry English and Dane Dacus rounded out the top ten.
The Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series returns to action on August 4 at Georgia’s Blue Ridge Motorsports Park. For more info, visit SASDirt.com.
