Police: Stolen phone leads to arrest of Dacula man for child porn possession

By Scott Kimbler, B.J. Williams

A Dacula man whose stolen cell phone showed up in a stolen vehicle remains in jail after images of child pornography were discovered on the phone.

Reports from the Gwinnett County Police Department indicate the vehicle was stolen from a Dacula address in March. When the vehicle was recovered in Flowery Branch, the stolen phone belonging to 37-year-old Bradley Duckett was discovered along with other stolen items in the vehicle. Duckett apparently never reported the phone as stolen.

Gwinnett Police Corporal Wilbert Rundles told Fox 5 News in Atlanta when detectives went through the phone in an attempt to find the owner, the images were found. The police report indicated there is one female victim involved.

"We don't have any indication at this point in the investigation that there is any other victim involved," Rundles told the TV station.

Duckett was arrested in April and at last report, he remained in jail with no bond.

Meanwhile,  the Gwinnett Daily Post reported this week that Duckett's wife is a board member for the Dyer Elementary School PTO. The newspaper quoted a parent who expressed concern about Jennifer Duckett's involvement with the organization. That parent claimed the suspect and the wife worked together on PTO projects.
