An Athens-Clarke County Police Officer has been fired for using excessive force.
Fox5 News reports that the incident occured on Friday, when a suspect was running on foot as police were tried to apprehended him for probation violation.
Office Taylor Saulters was driving the patrol car as his partner ran along side.
At one point, Officer Saulters accelerated and bumped the suspect with the front of the patrol car according to video from his personal body cam.
After reviewing the officer's body came, the police chief dismissed Saulters for using excessive force.
