Forsyth County Sheriff's Sex Offender Unit and the Forsyth County Sheriff's Internet Crimes Against Children Unit partnered with the Georgia Department of Community Supervision to conduct Operation Watchful Eye.
The three-day sweep resulted in the arrest of nine people for various violations of their probation.
The sex offender sweet conducted in October of 2017 resulted in 25 offenders searched and 4 arrested.
The following are the details on the arrests:
• On May 21, 2018, Jody Lee Flowers was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic DVDs.
• On May 21, 2018, Deon Brinkley was arrested for violating the conditions of his parole by having unsupervised contact with minors.
• On May 22, 2018, Christopher Woodall was arrested for violating the conditions of his parole by possessing pornographic material on his phone.
• May 22, 2018, Thomas Flynn was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his computer and phone.
• May 22, 2018, Michael Brashear was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone.
• May 22, 2018, Salvador Lauricella was arrested for Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute and two probation violations from Cherokee and Paulding Counties for the new felony charge and for possessing alcohol.
• May 23, 2018, Stephen Moon was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone.
• May 23, 2018, Alex Ethan Lane was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing pornographic material on his phone and for possessing social media on his phone. Lane is not a registered sex offender.
• May 24, 2018, Kenny Turner was arrested for violating the conditions of his probation by possessing two phones which had not been monitored, possession of pornographic material on the phones, and for possibly living somewhere else than his registered address.
