Two men believed to be involved in a murder case that has a connection to Barrow County have been charged in Walton County for felony murder and aggravated assault.
The charges against Michael Huff and Mark Campbell stem from the death of Montez Watson, according to a Facebook post by the Barrow County Sheriff's Office. On May 2, Barrow County authorities located the body of Watson buried at a property in the county.
It was determined Watson's death occurred in Walton County, so Walton County Sheriff's Office took the charges. However, Michael Huff, Jennifer Huff, Mark Campbell, and Wanda Campbell are still facing charges in Barrow County in reference to concealing the death of another and tampering with evidence.
The investigation is ongoing.
