Mitchell scores first career ULTIMATE victory at Laurens

LAURENS, S.C. - Zack Mitchell led all 40 laps en route to the victory in Saturday night’s Ronnie Brookshire Memorial for the ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series at South Carolina’s Laurens County Speedway.

The win was worth $4,014 for the Enoree, South Carolina driver, and marked his first career series victory.

Mitchell started the night by setting fast time in qualifying, and then led wire-to-wire to score the win over the 20 car field.

Kyle Hardy finished in second, followed by Jeff Smith in third, Joey Coulter in fourth and G.R. Smith in fifth

Anthony Sanders, Kenny Collins, John Henderson, Kyle Pierce, and Dennis Franklin rounded out the top ten.

The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will be back in action again for a double header weekend starting on Friday May 18 at Gastonia, North Carolina’s Carolina Speedway. It continues on Saturday at North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia.
