Authorities say the family of the man struck by a vehicle on Atlanta Highway must travel from El Salvador to bring his body home.
Sergeant Kevin Holbrook says 25 year old Edwin Omar Velasquez-Galeas died after someone hit him around 11:45 p.m. in the area of Beaulieu of America Sunday night.
He says the suspect vehicle is believed to be a full-size Chevrolet pick-up truck or SUV with front end damage on the passenger side.
