By AccessWDUN Staff

FLOWERY BRANCH — The Falcons have agreed to terms with three-time Pro Bowl cornerback Justin Bethel.

Bethel was a sixth-round draft choice by the Arizona Cardinals in 2012 and has spent the last six seasons in the desert with the Cardinals. Bethel has played in all 96 games since being drafted, and was selected to his first Pro Bowl as a special teams player in 2013 after recording 17 special teams tackles, which ranked second in the NFL.

He went on to earn two additional Pro Bowl nods as a special teams player, including being selected in 2015 after starting in four games and recording a career high two interceptions, 33 total tackles, nine passes defensed, and 13 special teams tackles.

Bethel will add more depth the cornerback position, while becoming a key member of the Falcons special teams units. The team recently re-signed cornerbacks Blidi Wreh-Wilson and Leon McFadden.
