GAINESVILLE — The North Hall girls tennis team swept the singles points on Thursday to help ensure a 4-1 win over Fannin County in Gainesville.
The Lady Trojans' Sydney Patterson won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Baylee Turner won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2 singles, and Carsen Baumgardner prevailed 6-0, 6-1 at No. 3 singles.
The Lady Trojans (9-2, 4-0 Region 7-3A) also claimed the No. 1 doubles point behind Lauren Davis/Christen Barnes in a 6-0, 6-0 outcome.

All five matches ended with 6-0, 6-0 perfect scores for the Lady Falcons (14-1, 5-0 Region 8-5A) in their region win on Thursday in Loganville.
Annabelle Thomas won at No. 1 singles, Olivia Correa at No. 2 singles, and Olivia Nance at No. 3 singles.
Brenna Martin and Alyssa McSpadden won at No. 1 doubles, while Alicia Quast and Kendalle Quast won at No. 2 doubles.

The Trojans (5-6, 2-2 Region 7-3A) swept the doubles matches but could not take a singles battle in the region loss on Thursday in Gainesville.
North Hall's No. 1 team of Adam Turcotte/Ethan Surles won 6-0, 6-2, while the No. 2 team of Forrester Terry/Brantley Moore prevailed 6-2, 6-3.
