Forsyth County leaders approved a new subdivision in the northwest part of the county.
The county's Director of Planning and Community Development, Tom Brown, spoke with commissioners about the property. "It's a request to rezone 115.93 acres from A-1 to Res-2 for 123 residential lots with a density of 1.06 units per acre," he explained. "The property is located on Jewell Bennett Road and Connor Road. The Planning Commission recommends approval."
The homes will be a minimum of 24-hundred square feet and amenities include a pool, playground, and cabana.
The county commission voted on the application last Thursday.
