Dawsonville man in final 10 contenders for FLW Tournament

The final day of competition for the FLW Tournament in Gainesville begins Sunday morning and a Dawsonville man will represent the state on Lake Lanier.
 
As the final ten anglers vie for the 1-hundred 25-thousand grand prize, Bradley Hallman of Oklahoma held on to his 3-day lead since the tournament's start this past Thursday.
 
Jason Johnson of Dawsonville gained the 5th place spot Saturday, almost 7 pounds shy of the leader's recorded weight.

Johnson won a 2016 FLW event on Florida's Lake Okeechobee by a 15 pound margin.

The top ten professionals advancing to Sunday's final day of competition are as follows:

1st:          Bradley Hallman, Norman, Okla., 15 bass, 55-3

2nd:         Zack Birge, Blanchard, Okla., 15 bass, 49-10

3rd:         Jeff Gustafson, Keewatin, Ontario, Canada, 15 bass, 48-10

4th:         Jason Johnson, Dawsonville, Ga., 15 bass, 48-9

5th:         Joseph Webster, Winfield, Ala., 15 bass, 47-10

6th:         Braxton Setzer, Montgomery, Ala., 15 bass, 47-5

7th:         Cody Meyer, Auburn, Calif., 15 bass, 46-14

8th:         Austin Felix, Eden Prairie, Minn., 15 bass, 46-13

9th:         David Williams, Maiden, N.C., 15 bass, 46-6

10th:       Jordan Osborne, Longview, Texas, 15 bass, 46-4

The final 10 contestants push off back onto the lake early Sunday morning at Laurel Park.
 
Final weigh-in takes place at 4 p-m.

The tournament is hosted by the Gainesville Convention and Visitor's Bureau.
