The North Hall boys tennis team picked up its first victory of the season in style on Thursday, sweeping past Dawson County 5-0.
The Trojans (1-3, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) won without dropping a set.
Masa Kobayashi defeated Kyle Phillips 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, while Christian Boychuk won over Chandler Ingram 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2 singles. Kody Dills also defeated Brendan Swafford 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
In doubles, the No. 1 team of Adam Turcotte/Ethan Surles won 6-1, 6-0, while the No. 2 team of Forester Terry/Jackson Roush won 6-2, 6-4.
North Hall will play in the annual Granger Invitational this weekend.

The Lady Trojans (3-1, 1-0 Region 7-AAA) cruised to the win, dropping just four games throughout the entire match on Thursday.
Anna Montgomery defeated Savannah Kennedy 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1 singles, while Sydney Patterson defeated Tyler Perry 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Christen Barnes defeated Abbey Haymond 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
North Hall's Lauren Davis/Baylee Turner won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while Raquel Kallab/Ella Oxley won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 doubles.
North Hall will play in the annual Granger Invitational this weekend.

The Lady Knights notched a Region 8-AAAAA win on Thursday by sweeping the singles points.
Perla Rivera (6-1, 6-0), Anna Cooper (6-4, 6-0) and Morgan Langley (6-0, 6-0) each notched victories in singles play for Johnson.
Meanwhile, the doubles team of Isa Martinez/Haley Grimes also picked up a victory (6-4, 6-0).

The Falcons (6-0) won in straight sets to cruise to the Region 8-AAAAA win on Thursday in Athens.
Nathan Holley won 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, while Jack Thomas won 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles. Brody Millwood also won 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles.
The Branch's No. 1 doubles team of John Hollis/Brady McVey won 6-3, 6-1, and the No. 2 team of Gunnar Hetzel/Caden Caldwell won 6-1, 6-1.
