Mt. Vernon, Chestnut Mountain schools host Math Mania

Two Hall County schools hosted a math competition Saturday for students in the county's elementary schools.  

The events were held at Mt. Vernon and Chestnut Mountain schools.  Some of the schools participated at Mt. Vernon, some at Chestnut Mountain.

 

MT. VERNON RESULTS

 

1st grade

1st place – Turner Clark – Sardis

2nd place – Murphy Whitlow – Mt. Vernon

3rd place – Henry Floyd, Mt. Vernon

 

2nd grade

1st place – Louis Carey – Mt. Vernon

2nd place – Meerah Myrnyi – Lanier

3rd place – Ethan Thome – Lanier

 

3rd grade

1st place – Andrew Boyd – Mt. Vernon

2nd place – Andre Sanchez – Lanier

3rd place – Cole Cable – Lanier

 

4th grade

1st place – Eli Ham – Lanier

2nd place – Daniel Cavazos – Riverbend

3rd place – CJ Fair – Lula

 

5th grade

1st place – Evelyn Crow – Riverbend

2nd place – William Carey – Mt. Vernon
