Clermont is planning a memorial service later this month to mark the 20th anniversary of a tornado that struck the North Hall area, killing a dozen people.
The twister, which also killed one person in White County and another west of Gainesville, struck in the pre-dawn hours of March 20, 1998.
The memorial service is planned March 17 at 10:00 at Clermont's Clay Gailey Park.
