ATLANTA — Atlanta United today announced that midfielder Ezequiel Barco will miss four-to-six weeks with a right quad strain. Barco suffered the injury during training on Wednesday.
The newly acquired midfielder is expected to make a quick impact for Atlanta wen healthy. Aged 18, Barco signed from Independiente this summer from Argentina.
He appeared in three preseason games for United.
Atlanta United opens the 2018 MLS Regular Season on Saturday against Houston Dynamo at 3:30 p.m. (EST). The match will be televised live nationally on Univision.
