Hall County drug agents seized $8.4k in meth, heroin

Four people were arrested in Hall County and charged with trafficking methamphetamine and selling heroin on Tuesday.

"The agents were following up on some information they had received earlier that day - this was a one day investigation - about some methamphetamine distribution and also heroin distribution," said Lt. Don Scalia with the Hall County Multi Agency Narcotics Squad.

Scalia said the suspects arrived in two vehicles at the parking lot of a business in the 4000 block of Golden Parkway in Buford.

"They actually came across the four suspects and found them in possession of three ounces of methamphetamine, packaged in five different bags and about two grams of heroin in one bag, 11 Alprazolam pills, one pill we are still trying to identify, but we think it's going to be some kind of amphetamine," Scalia said. He added they also found a .22 caliber revolver, packaging materials and digital scales.

Matthew Rennie Nadolski, 41, of Cumming and Elysia Dawn Green, 35, of Liburn face charges of trafficking methamphetamine, sale of heroin, possession of Alprazolam with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

"It looks like at this time that Nadolski and Green were the suppliers. I don't want to go too deeply into the facts in the case, but that's what we're looking at now," said Scalia. "Then Mr. Reeves and Mr. Tufts were more the distributors, they'd meet with the customers."

Christopher Joseph Reaves, 33, of Cumming and Christopher Gene Tufts, 29, face a count each of sale of heroin.

Scalia said the drugs were worth about $8,400 and there was also an additional $1,847 in cash was located in the vehicles.

"Three ounces is a good amount of meth, that's for sure," said Scalia. "And heroin, of course any amount of heroin we can get, we like to get heroin off the street any chance we get. I don't care if it's a dosage unit, so way less than a gram, or like in this case. Two grams is a pretty good bit."

Scalia said the four were arrested without incident and booked into the Hall County Jail.

MANS agents worked with the Hall County Sheriff's Office A.C.E. Unit on the case.
