ATLANTA (Feb. 18, 2018) — ATL UTD 2 today announced it has signed three players to its inaugural roster in goalkeeper Paul Christensen, defender Andrew Kendall-Moullin and midfielder Laurent Kissiedou, pending league and federation approval.

Kendall-Moullin and Kissiedou made their professional debuts in the United Soccer League in 2017 while Christensen is a rookie out of Portland University.

“I’m very happy to add Laurent, Andrew and Paul to ATL UTD 2,” head coach Scott Donnelly said. “Each player complements our group and fill positional needs for the team. Laurent is a smooth, creative attacking player with a great deal of upside. Andrew brings consistency and good game intelligence, as well as positional versatility. Paul is a solid young goalkeeper who impressed us with his technique, willingness to learn and enthusiasm for the club. These three players strengthen our team, and we’re excited to work with them.”

Christensen, 21, was selected by Atlanta United with the No. 70 pick in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft. He started all 72 games of his four-year college career at Portland and recorded 20 clean sheets. Christensen was twice voted West Coast Conference Goalkeeper of the Year. He played for the Seattle Sounders FC Academy and was the 2011 Generation Adidas U-15 Golden Glove winner.

Kendall-Moullin comes to Atlanta after spending his first professional season with San Antonio FC in 2017. The 23-year-old defender played collegiately at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville where he spent four seasons and totaled 72 appearances, three goals and eight assists.

Kissiedou, 19, is a product of Atlanta United’s academy and joins ATL UTD 2 after playing for Charleston Battery in 2017. The Ivorian midfielder spent one season in Atlanta United’s academy and scored seven goals with the U-18 team.

ATL UTD 2’s inaugural match is on March 24th against the New York Red Bulls II at Coolray Field. Full schedule and ticket information click here.
