COVINGTON — The Johnson boys soccer team continued its strong start to the seasonw with a 4-0 shutout of Eastside Thursday on the road.
Th Knights (4-0) already have three shutout wins and have given up just two goals on the young season.
David Flores, Joshua Elizalde, Rigo Campa and Juan Carlos Gomez all tallied one goal for Johnson. Michael Arcia provided two assists and Cole Bowen added an assist for the Knights.
Cooper Bowen recorded 5 saves for the shutout win in goal.
Johnson next will travel to West Hall on Tuesday in the annual Battle of Oakwood.
