Gainesville couple, real estate agent to be on House Hunters TV show

A Gainesville-based real estate agent and her clients have been selected to be on the television show House Hunters.

The popular reality television show airs on HGTV and features a buyer searching for a home in a particular area, with the buyer looking at three houses and selecting their future home from those three, with their real estate agent guiding them.

In this case, CJ Greene with the Abernathy Cochran Group will be guiding Graham and Hayden Simmons as they purchase their home in Gainesville.

Greene said in an email to AccessWDUN they will begin filming at the end of the month, and their House Hunters episode should air four to six months after filming is complete.

Getting a space on the show was challenging, and Greene said it took time. "I have applied with several clients in the past but you have to have an incredibly flexible filming timeline so this was the first time all that worked out. We went through several interviews on the phone and Skype before landing the gig."

"I am just so excited for Gainesville to get a minute in the spotlight with my fun clients. With all the excitement for development coming to downtown and the greenway paths making a more walkable community living here right now is fun! Of course the scenery of Lake Lanier and our super hospitable community will make for a good episode of House Hunters," said Greene. "I work with the most talented, creative and professional real estate group in town, The Abernathy Cochran Group, and we are always trying to push ourselves in new creative directions so this will be a great experience!"
