A Gainesville man was being held without bond in the Hall County Jail Friday, accused of sexually molesting a girl over a three-year period, authorities said.
Lennon Jay Mitchell, 37, is charged with two counts of aggravated child molestation, child molestation and aggravated sexual battery, Hall County Sheriff's Lt. Scott Ware wrote in a media release.
Mitchell allegedly abused the girl between August of 2014 and October of last year. He was acquainted with the victim, according to Ware.
Investigators arrested Mitchell without incident Wednesday on Martin Luther King Junior Boulevard at Wills Street.
Ware said the case remains under investigation.
