Victims reported at least five entering auto and two stolen vehicle cases at an apartment complex in Gainesville Monday.
According to the Gainesville Police Department's Tuesday morning bulletin, the crimes all occurred within the Lake Lanier Club complex off of Ga. 53/Dawsonville Highway.
The incidents all happened between Friday and Monday, with most occurring some time between Sunday and Monday, according to the bulletin.
"We would like to remind the public to lock, take and hide; lock their vehicles, take their belongings out of their car and hide valuables out of plain view," Police Sgt. Kevin Holbrook wrote in an email to AccessWDUN.
Holbrook asked that anyone who noticed anything suspicious in the area during the time frame to call investigators at (770) 534-5254.
