Chateau Elan one of 41 Ga. hotels on AAA's lists of highest-rated hotels

By AccessWDUN Staff

Georgia is home to 41 of AAA’s highest rated hotels in North America, according to the latest round of AAA Diamond Ratings, and Braselton's Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is among them.

For more than 80 years, AAA has sent professional inspectors to hotels and restaurants across the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean. Properties are rated on a scale of one to five Diamonds, based on a variety of guidelines for cleanliness, comfort and hospitality. More Diamonds means higher overall quality, range of facilities and level of services offered by the property.  AAA recently announced this year’s list of hotels and resorts that earned Four and Five Diamond designations.

Chateau Elan, which was recently sold, is on the Four Diamond list.

“Diamond ratings are an invaluable resource to both travelers and business owners,” said Vicky Evans, Assistant Vice President, Travel Sales Development, AAA – The Auto Club Group. “Since annual inspections are unannounced, our inspectors get the truest representation of the traveler experience at each property. Our unbiased review allows hotel managers to make improvements, and helps travelers choose a hotel that fits their needs for any occasion.”
