Athens student arrested for gun at school

Police arrested a student at Cedar Shoals High School in Athens after he brought a stolen gun to school.
 
Another student alerted the school about the 15 year old with a gun Wednesday afternoon, according to the AJC.
 
Officers say the gun got stolen during a recent entering auto incident and could be linked to two drive by shootings at a Martin Court residence.
 
The student faces two counts of aggravated assault and charges for possessing a weapon on school grounds.
 
He's being held at the Gainesville Youth Detention Center.
