Gainesville's Fox among 41 members of Kemp transition team

Among the 41 members of Governor Elect Brian Kemp's transition team is a Gainesville native who founded a group called Georgia Republicans for the Future, a group that supports nondiscrimination across the state.

Allen Fox, who now lives in Atlanta, is an advocate for LGBT rights, according to a profile in the Atlanta Journal Constitution.

In his brief comments Monday morning, Kemp noted that his "Georgians First Committee" is a diverse group. The committee is comprised of community activists, business leaders, current and former political figures and some members of his campaign team.
