An officer involved shooting in Gwinnett County leaves a suspect wounded.
Gwinnett Police Corporal Michelle Pihera said officers responded to an area of Prospect Road and Alpha Road around 7 p.m. to a report of gang activity, and when they arrived they heard people yelling and a gun shot.
When they found the people involved, a suspect was pointing a gun at another person and an officer shot the suspect in the arm.
He was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is assisting with the investigation.
