(VIDEO) Athlete of the Week: Luttrell's 4 touchdowns keeps Habersham in playoff hunt

MT. AIRY — Tre Luttrell found himself in a tough situation in more ways than one on Friday.

The Habersham Central senior quarterback knew how badly his team needed a win to halt a two-game losing skid and stay in the playoff race in Region 8-6A.

He also knew that to get that victory he had to beat some former teammates that were also desparate for success.

Luttrell managed all that with aplomb, throwing for four touchdowns and rolling up 216 total yards of offense in the Raiders' 49-32 win over Gainesville in Mt. Airy.

For his efforts, Luttrell has been named the Conditioned Air Systems Athlete of the Week.

AccessWDUN's and Friday Game Night's Morgan Lee recently caught up with Luttrell to talk about his big night, Habersham's rebound and the Raiders prospects of getting back into the postseason for the first time since 2011.
