The Chestatee wrestling team placed second at the Area 7-AAAA Traditional tournament on Saturday.
The War Eagles placed wrestlers in the top four in 13 out of 14 weight classes, each of which qualified for the state sectional at Jefferson High, Feb. 2-3.
The top 8 wrestlers in each weight class from Sectionals qualify for the state finals, which will take place Feb. 8-10 in Macon.
