Clothing giveaway Saturday in Clermont

Caring Hands Ministries will be helping people stay warm from head to toe with another hats, scarves, gloves, shoes, and blankets give away on Saturday.

It will be held at the Caring Hands office next to Papa's Pizza on Cleveland Highway in Clermont from 12:00-2:00 or as long as supplies last.

Americans Helping Americans has sent new blankets, shoes and packs of hats scarves and gloves. Last month AHA provided new coats that were given away.

This is the second of two give aways this month according to give away manager Kaylyn Hernandez. :A number of people received warm things last Saturday and there are still more to give this week. Shoes that are left are mainly junior high through adult sizes. The other thing are one size fit all.

These things are for personal use only and are not to be traded, sold or bartered according to Caring Hands Executive Director Ann Fleming. Everything will be available on a first come, first serve basis and quantities are limited. People who got things last Saturday are not eligible for this give away and those who received blankets at the Caring Hands give away at Travis Chapel can get shoes hats, scarves, and gloves but not blankets this time.

Anyone who would like to contribute clean, gently used or new blankets, coats, sweaters or sweats, hats, scarves, gloves, or shoes can bring them to the give away or call Caring Hands Ministries at 706 219 1980 for other drop-off points
