Hall County Emergency Management is advising citizens to stay off the roads as travel conditions are very hazardous throughout the county.
"We are experiencing widespread, major impacts to roadways in Hall County," interim director Casey Ramsey wrote in an email about 7:30 this morning. "Public works crews are spreading rock and calcium on affected roadways. Citizens should limit travel unless absolutely necessary and give themselves extra time to arrive at their destination. Please allow plenty of room between your vehicle and the road department trucks."
