Hall County Sheriff's Office accepting applications for annual Citizen's Academy

The Hall County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) is now accepting applications for the 2017 session of the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy, scheduled to begin Oct. 10.
 
According to information from HCSO, participants will meet twice per week during the evening hours for six weeks, with an opportunity to see first-hand what goes on within all of the various divisions and sections of the HCSO.
 
Participants will also get a chance to meet with members of the command staff, tour all of the HCSO facilities, and see equipment, K9 and weapons demonstrations.
 
Upon completion of the program, citizens will have a greater understanding of the overall mission of the department and the services the sheriff's office provides to Hall County citizens.
