2-year-old dies following injuries in Dawson County wreck

A 2-year-old child has succumbed to injuries she sustained in a car accident Wednesday in Dawson County.
 
The Georgia State Patrol identified the child as Adelyn Eubanks of Ball Ground.
 
Eubanks had been taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center and was then airlifted to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta for treatment.
 
Eubanks was in a vehicle with Louise Duncan, 69, of Jasper, when troopers believe Duncan ran off Georgia 53, into a ditch and hit a drainage culvert.
 
Duncan died at the scene. Troopers said Wednesday that she was not wearing a seatbelt.
