Jackson Co. state court judge gets new term on state board

Robert D. Alexander, a state court judge in Jackson County, has been appointed to a new term on the Georgia Circuit Public Defenders Supervisory Council.

Alexander earned bachelor’s degrees in English and History from Presbyterian College and a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served on the Georgia Law Review editorial board. He and his wife, Lori, have two children and live in Jefferson.

The reappointment was made by Gov. Nathan Deal.
