Tye Nalley took the measure of the Modified Street field to score his first feature victory on the final night of the 2017 points campaign at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway Saturday night.
After scoring a heat win, Nalley led wire-to-wire in the feature to take a popular win and celebrated with style standing atop his car in victory lane.
Kyle Gordon finished in second, with Sterling Helm in third, Daniel Doster in fourth and Scotty Chatham in fifth.
In other action, Adam Smith also notched his first Lavonia Speedway victoryof the season as he outlasted the challenges of Parker Herring and Frankie Beard to take the FASTRAK Pro Late Model feature win. Daniel Wilson came home in fourth, with Derrick Harvey in fifth.
Continuing the theme of first-time winners, Dakota Whittemore stormed to his first-ever victory in the Beginner 4-Cylinder division. Nathanial Little, Ricky Holcombe, Jacob Kelly and Eddie Segars rounded out the top five.
Bubba Russell scored the win in the Limited Late Modle feature, with Mason Tucker in second, Dustin Mincey in third, Ashley Poole in fourth and Clayton Turner in fifth.
Blake Craft was the winner in the 602 Hobby feature. Aaron Calvert finished in second ahead of Nick Schlager in third, Chayse York in fourth and Ricky Harvey in fifth.
Rusty Jordan held off Stephen House for the Stock V8 feature win, with Jack Hill, in third, Ricky Chamberlain in fourth and Timmy Jones in fifth.
Kevin Kelly topped the Stock 4-Cylinder feature for his 15th win of the season. Parris Simmons took second, with Jamie Massey third, Scott Hollars fourth and Bryson Harper in fifth.
Hunter Anthony won the Front Wheel Drive feature, followed by Justin Reed in second, Tony Stevens in third, Cody Henry in fourth and Austin Elrod in fifth.
