SENOIA, Ga. - Ashton Winger worked his way to the lead of Saturday night’s Super Late Model feature at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway, and went on to score his second win of the season.
Austin Horton qualified on the pole for the feature, and looked like he would have smooth sailing as he left Winger and the rest in his dust through the first few laps of the race.
Winger picked up his pace, as he closed on Horton by lap 14 and made the pass for the lead. From there, Winger went on to post the victory, with Clint Smith in second, Horton in third, Bubba Pollard in fourth and Shane Fulcher in fifth.
In other action, Tod Darda held off Joey Armistead to score the Limited Late Model feature victory. Dustin Elliott finished in third, with Thomas Mewborn in fourth and Dennis Hale in fifth.
Marty Lunsford led flag-to-flag for his second Crate Late Model victory of the season. Jamie Maurice finished in second, followed by Randall Powell in third, Wayne Harbin in fourth and Dennis Lykins, Jr. in fifth.
Dylan Knowles outlasted Craig Scott and Bobby Arnold for the Late Model Sportsman win. Keith Fields finished fourth with Levi Campbell fifth.
Shane Tidwell scored the Hobby feature victory, with Ted Willingham, Cory Hillman, Brandon Henderson and Jeremy Butler rounding out the top five.
Mark Newton took the lead from Marc Leath on lap three of the Mini Stock race and then cruised to his tenth win of the year. Grant Roberts finished in second, with Jamie Nicholson, Sr. in third, Mike Younginer in fourth and Joshua Till in fifth.
William Blair led wire-to-wire to score the Bomber feature victory, while Nathan Farrow celebrated the win in the Hot Shots feature.
