A toddler was taken by helicopter to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta after she apparently fell in a pool at a Hall County home.
The 3-year-old was at the home in the Marina Bay subdivision with her out-of-state family when she fell in the pool around 3 p.m., said Deputy Stephen Wilbanks, Hall County Sheriff's Office spokesman.
"She was discovered by family members, who performed CPR until the arrival of EMS personnel. It is unknown how long the victim was underwater before being found," said Wilbanks in a statement.
The girl apparently wandered away from the vacation home, which her family was renting, when she fell in the pool.
The child's condition was not immediately available, said Wilbanks.
