CLARKESVILLE — Those who haven’t visited the Chattahoochee Mountain Fair in Clarkesville during its 2017 run still have time.
Ticket booths open at 1 p.m. today, Sept. 16, with rides from 2-11 p.m., at the Habersham County Fairgrounds, 182 Toccoa Highway, Clarkesville.
Saturday’s fair will feature The Dukes of Hazzard replica car cruise-in at 3 p.m., a Deputy Cletus Hogg (Rick Hurst) meet and greet from 3-6 p.m., and a character look-alike contest at 3:30 p.m.
Featured evening entertainment will feature The Springs from Nashville at 8 p.m.
Admission to the fair is $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 5-12, and free for children 4 and under. Unlimited ride bracelets are $20.
The fair was forced to close Monday and Tuesday due to Irma-related weather and resulting power outages, so officials hope today's event will receive a lot of community support.
Check back with AccessWDUN later for a photo gallery of the fair.
