ATLANTA — Georgia Tech and Temple have agreed to a home-and-home football series, the schools announced on Wednesday. Georgia Tech will travel to Philadelphia to face Temple on Sept. 28, 2019 and will host the Owls at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Sept. 20, 2025.
Georgia Tech and Temple have never met on the gridiron. The 2019 game at Lincoln Financial Field (home of the National Football League’s Philadelphia Eagles) will mark the Yellow Jackets’ first contest in the City of Brotherly Love since a 13-12 loss at Penn on Nov. 14, 1931.
Temple is coached by former Georgia Tech graduate assistant (1999-2000), tight ends coach (2001) and director of player personnel (2006) Geoff Collins.
