Gainesville man arrested for trafficking $9.6K worth of meth

A Gainseville man is facing charges after Hall County drug agents allegedly found him in possession of $9,600 worth of methamphetamine.

Danny Lee Grindle, 35, was arrested Aug. 24 near the intersection of Limestone Parkway and Beverly Road, according to Lt. Don Scalia with the Hall County Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (MANS).

Authorities confiscated 96 grams (3.4 ounces) of meth in a single bag, along with $1,784 cash, said Scalia.

Grindle is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and having an improper license plate.

Scalia said no further charges or arrests are anticipated in the investigation.
