Hogan maintains lead in GJGA's Grand Championship

CANTON — Ryan Hogan maintained his lead on the second day of the Georgia Junior Golf Association's Grand Championship.

The Gainesville High standout fired a 1-over-par 73 on Tuesday to take a four-shot lead in the boys 15-18-year-old division into Wednesday's third and final round at Woodmont Golf and Country Club in Canton. Flowery Branch's Connor Gillespie also carded a seocnd round 75 and is tied for 21st after two rounds.

Meanwhile, Gainesville's Sam Patterson shot a second round 82 and sits in fifth place in the boys 13-14 division. 

And in the girls 12-and-up division, Gainesville's Morgan Nichol shot a 93 and is tied for ninth.
