The North Georgia Community Foundation is now accepting nominations for its 2017 Philanthropy Awards which include the Woodrow Stewart Leadership in Philanthropy Award and the Gus Whalen Young Philanthropist Award.
Nominations will be accepted through August 15.
The winners of both awards will be honored at NGCF’s Celebration of Community event Oct. 12.
The awards are open to nominations anywhere in the foundation's 15-county service area: Banks, Dawson, Fannin, Forsyth, Franklin, Habersham, Hall, Hart, Jackson, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White counties.
