The Georgia State Patrol continues to investigate a Fourth of July traffic accident that killed a 15-year-old Suwanee girl in Dawson County.

Eliza Farrell died in the late-evening two-car collision on Lumpkin Campground Road at Industrial Park Road, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.  The intersection is near the outlet mall.

Farrell was a passenger in a vehicle stopped at the intersection.  A pickup truck hit that vehicle in the passenger side, according to the paper.

A state patrol spokeswoman said Brayden Clark, 21, of Loganville was driving the pickup.  He was taken to Northeast Georgia Medical Center.  She described his injuries only as non-fatal.

Farrell was riding in the vehicle with a 16-year-old driver, Xavier Sanchez, and two other passengers, Rachel Rajczak and Kevin Arias, according to the AJC.  There's no word on the other passengers' injuries, ages or cities of residence.

The Georgia State Patrol Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team is handling the investigation, according to the GSP spokeswoman.

Farrell went to Lambert High School in Forsyth County and was a member of the JV soccer team, according to the Atlanta paper.
