Grier announces intent to run for mayor of Lula

Realto Jim Grier has announced that he will run for mayor of the city of Lula in the November 2017 election.
 
Grier is scheduled to make a formal announcement Saturday at the annual Car Show in Lula’s Rafe Banks Park, although he announced his intent to run in a press release issued Friday.
 
In Lula, Grier served as Chairman of the Downtown Development authority from 2007 to 2014.
 
Grier currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce and also as a member of the Economic Development Council. He has previously served as Chairman of the Chamber’s Small Business Roundtable Council. 

Grier said in his press statment that he opened his first real estate related business in 1988 and has worked as a real estate agent, a mortgage broker, a property owner and lender for property rehab and improvement.
