Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce honors Silver Shovel recipients

At its monthly Board meeting on Thursday, June 22, the Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce honored 15 community volunteers with its Silver Shovel awards.
 
The awards are given annually to community members who have provided exemplary service to the Chamber and to the Gainesville-Hall County community in the last year.
 
The 2017 Silver Shovel recipients are:
  • JOHN BREAKFIELD – STATE COURT JUDGE
  • BRENT COOK – GEORGIA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
  • BRETT FOWLER – TURNER, WOOD AND SMITH INSURANCE
  • ANDY KALINAUSKUS – CONDITIONED AIR SYSTEMS
  • CAROLINE LEWALLEN – JAEMOR FARMS
  • SARITA MADERA – HOMESTAR FINANCIAL CORPORATION
  • STACEY POOLE – MCDONALD’S OF NEGA
  • ROPE ROBERTS – GEORGIA POWER
  • JOHN SIMPSON – LAKEVIEW ACADEMY
  • GREG VITEK – IMS GEAR GEORGIA 
  • LILA WESTMORELAND – BRENAU UNIVERSITY
  • MADELINE WIRT & DAVID DICKERSON – WHELCHEL, DUNLAP, JARRARD & WALKER
