Father, son arrested in Lumpkin County meth trafficking investigation

A month-long investigation in Lumpkin County has lead to the arrest of a father and son.
 
According to a release from the Lumpkin County Sheriff's Office, Stephen Claude Mann, 48, and Michael Stephen Mann, 24, of Dahlonega were arrested Monday after an anonymous tip and traffic stop linked the two to trafficking methamphetamine.
 
A search warrant was executed at 1215 Pink Williams Road on Monday, in which law enforcement seized approximately 23 grams of methamphetamines and a misdemeanor amount of marijuana, as well as guns, scales and drug paraphernalia , according to the release.
 
Both Stephen and Michael Mann face possession with intent to distribute methamphetamines and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, both of which are felony charges. They also face a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana.
